Suggest Montreal clothing shopping for men
I'm not particular to any brand of clothing, etc. I live in Ottawa and there are generally only big box stores and mass-retailers around. I was wondering if anyone could make a suggestion of where to get good deals on clothes in Montreal.
To give an idea of my situation.....
I just graduated university and need some new clothes pretty bad. I have some nice business-wear but some of my casual wear and doesn't fit me well and I've next to no summer clothes. Could probably use a new suit or two while I'm at it.
I've bought stuff from Mexx and America because they have some outlets but its lower quality stuff now. Shopping in the US outlets is okay but many stores don't mark stuff down much.

Downtown can be expensive at times, depending on your budget, you might want some other suggestions.

I really like Rudsak on St Catherines st.
They make all their leather items in Montreal. But they used to have some cool shoes there too, haven't been there lately.
Also, they have a lot of nice casual clothing, kinda like America style so quite nice.
their website is at www.rudsak.com
I bought a belt there 3 months ago and really like it, it was $60 i think
Also, own 3 of their bags and they are really nice too..._______________

I haven't been there since the Winter. But I'd say the leather coata start at $300+, but they do have quite a few sale items a lot of times.
I've seen leather skirts for $100-200 or so. Their fabric coats would be less maybe the 200 range...not too sure on that though.
I bought a leather belt, a pretty plain one and that was $70 I think, but it is really sturdy thick leather- so I know it will not snap in 2 like my last 2 danier belts
I know for their handbags, the black ones are never on sale. I got one as a gift and it was $250+. I have a small brown leather purse from them and those go for $150-250 and are not that fancy, but they are quite classic.
I also have a messenger bag that is a good size for magazines or notebooks and that goes for $200 (but mine wa son sale for 1/2 price as it was a winter colour
They also used to have really funky shoes there. I will have to check in a few weeks!_______________

Also looking for suggestions. In particular for a nice stylish suit. I bought one from Zara's like 8+ years ago and it is time for a new one (starting to fall apart although I don't wear it very often anymore).. I understand there are some "outlets" in Montreal for suits that they make there?
