Sumo Lounge Bean Bags
Anyone have the Omni or the Otto?
How are your experiences with these pieces of furniture. I'm thinking of buying a set of white ones soon.

I wasn't aware of this product until you pointed it out, but it definitely looks pretty cool, and the many reviews on the sumo site seem to confirm that it's a sweet addition to a living/family room. You may have just sold me on one.

Never tried the sumo but for comparison's sake, I recently bought 2 loungers from comfysacks.com and they're awesome. For one, you can fully stretch out on them, so that you can go into a full zero-g position, which is the ultimate position for relaxing - i think there might be a youtube video somewhere. Check em out.

Don't have the sumos, but do have another brand of bean bags - woosaa (friend's business, don't think they do it anymore though).

I have the Omni. It's easily the best beanbag chair I've sat on. You can easily form it in any position and sit on it. It supports your body very nicely and you can find yourself sitting on it for hours without any discomfort. Very well made..as my cat has not destroyed or puntured any holes into yet

man, the comfysack ones look awesome. Curious, how long did it take to ship to Canada?
My sister has been looking for a bean bag chair for the longest time, this would be so much better since they are more versatile.

I have 2 beanbags from Curved Space http://www.curvedspace.biz/index.html and they are super comfy. Local too. My friends come over and fight over who gets to sit on them.

Do you have a photo of your lounger? How's the quality of the material, does it look cheap or high end?

i bought a sumo years ago, unless you have something to prop up against it is a poor chair, just a huge pillow.

Someone here would really love one for Christmas, but I'm a little skeptical despite the rave reviews. There have been more than a handful of people with nightmare shipping experiences from Sumo, and importing it from the States will only complicate it if something goes wrong.
I'm definitely going to try out the 'bean/foam' bags at the Davisville location in Toronto, and see if any of them would fit the bill.
