peanut butter is peanut butter, just can't imagine when you say so much in taste difference..
I guarantee if you did a blind fold test you'd notice a difference. Kraft is bland in comparison.

If water which carries no ingredients whatsoever can carry such an adverse effect on people causing forum social wars on the differences of Spring, RO and Tap than I can assure you peanut butter is simply just not peanut butter.
yeah i get your point, i guess i'm the least concerning type, i drink tap all the way

Kraft PB second ingredient is Soybean oil ... and I for one definitely notice it (mild intolerance to oil) ... compare their ingredient lists some time.

I preferred JIF than Kraft PB now.

Jif must have a big marketing push on now, trying to get people hooked, lots of TV commercials last few weeks. I tried some of their PB years ago, didn't notice anything different except extra sweetness from added sugar. At this price I will try again.

Adams also has frequent price slashings, I like their PB but there is usually a big mess of peanut oil when you have to mix it on first opening.

***EDIT*** Jif price is too high in my store, about $5.48 before the $1 coupon. Also the jar label confirms they have more sugar than the other brands.

Went to my local Superstore yesterday (Innes Road) and they don't even carry this size of Jif, they only had the 500g jars. Confused Face

You don't need coupon to get same price at Food Basics. It's on sale there for under $3. Maybe you can price match at Superstore also.

Double the product for $1 more at superstore, minus $1 coupon.

I have noticed the unusually high number of ads for Jif, and I was thinking they might be trying to fill the void left by Skippy pulling out of Canada. People were scrambling to stockpile the stuff when it was announced they would be leaving the Canadian market, so Jif is probably trying to pick up where they left off.
