Are these considered a snack or a meal? I'm not a big sushi fan but I have on occasion eaten the ones you find in supermarkets pre-made and ready to go. I'm Asian so it's not unusual to find a typical meal consisting of a LARGE bowl of rice with a healthy side serving, that's just how it's traditionally done. Conversely, if you look at a typical Canadian/Caucasian single serving, it consists of very little rice but with a varied selection of sides.

Back to the sushi. Is this how Japanese people typical eat them? 6-8 nibblets or am I way off base here because these are anything BUT Japanese cuisine and more like Canadiana than it is Japanese, i.e Holy Chow is as much Chinese food as these pre-fab sushi rolls are Japanese.

At any rate, I think they're pretty good if you're on a diet but don't want to munch of fruit or veggie sticks; or completely skip a meal.

my $0.02 worth.
