It is was a targetted attack, but people are still answering the door, when they not expecting anyone?
Since installing a Ring Pro doorbell camera, I haven't opened the door for anyone.

Police say they're looking for a man they believe posed as a delivery man in order to shoot a woman with a crossbow in Mississauga, Ont.

Peel Regional Police said Monday that, in November, a 44-year-old woman answered her door to the supposed delivery man who was carrying a large box.

How nice of them to wait 5 months to tell us this guy is out there on the loose.
Could HAVE, not could OF. What does 'could of' even mean?

He's supposedly a hire, so we should be ok.

A hired hitman who uses a crossbow? Talk about cheaping out. Must be an RFDer.

Harder to trace an arrow, compared to a bullet?

Certainly a lot quieter than a bullet.

Crossbow protection ...

May be this person practicing? I have to say out of all weapons, crossbows would not be my first choice.
On a 'smart' device that isn't always so smart. So please forgive the autocorrects and typos. If it bothers you, then don't read my posts, but don't waste my time correcting me. If you can get past the typos, then my posts generally have some value.

The suspect saw how effective crossbows are at killing zombies on the Walking Dead, so they decided to give it a try.

Guy was amateur. Why go near if you're gonna use a crossbow. These are long range weapons.

Because you can buy a crossbow anywhere. At the height he's holding the box, will be a direct hit into the abdomen - he had his hand inside the box. Is there a trigger on a crossbow? Not sure how the person inside had the strength to close the door though.

That is a toy; it's dangerous but nothing compared to a real crossbow which has a draw weight of a couple hundred pounds and requires your whole body to cock it. Also the bolts are usually tipped with regular or mechanical broadheads which have multiple blades that pop out on impact to maximize bleeding. I'm really surprised she survived since these things are well known for killing the largest of animals.

A cross bow is definitely not a long range weapon.
