suspension help
I took off the bump stop off one of my shocks to replace some worn washers and stuff, but now I'm having problems putting the bump stop back on. Everytime I try to press it in, the shock would just compress. Any ideas?

Take a rag or a piece of rubber and wrap it around the shaft a few inches from body. Clamp on some vice grips (on the rag or rubber so not to damage the shaft), and now force on the rubber bump stop. The vice grips should prevent the shaft from compressing into the shock housing.
