To open the Acomdata external drives, you have to remove the foil sticker that has the serial number. This will void your warranty. There is one screw to remove underneath the sticker. Once the screw is off, the case will come apart and you can easily replace the drive. BTW, I wouldn't worry too much about the warranty because Acomdata requires that you send the drive back to them in California and then they send it back by UPS. So, there is always a chance that you will get hit by the UPS brokerage fees. Just not worth it, so void the warranty.

swap external hd
I have one of these
can I swap out the 120gig drive and replace it with a 200 gig drive?
anyone done this before? I can't find and screws on it?
