Swapping RBC Rewards into other programs

Hi I have a good amount of RBC points accumulated and using them on the basic RBC rewards would be a waste.

I've read that I can swap them into BA miles (sometimes @ 1.5x) and saw that I can also put them into Esso Extra. Does anyone know of others? I doubt I'll fly on British Airways and don't drive a car so those are not the most useful.

You can get airplane tickets through the RBC travel agent. But if you transfer to British Airways, you can redeem on any one world alliance airline, not just British.

If you don't use the rewards for travel, then you will get very low returns.

I think the Esso points only get you like around 1% return.
Travel would get you more than 1.5%.

You can use them to buy gift cards at stores like futureshop. Alternatively, if you have RBC financial products, you can use them to pay down your mortgage. Check out the RBC rewards web site.

You can, but the return is like 0.8%, ouch.
