Sweaty shoes and high end italian.

I buy cheap dress shoes for work from aldo/spring type stores.
My feet are always so sweaty! Is it the shoes?

Question 2.
I always wanted to spluge on a bad ass set of gucci or prada shoes. Is it true that these will last a life time bc theyre built in a way that allows the soles and leather to be repaired by a skilled cobbler? Bc if thats the case... its worth it to buy $800 shoes and pay a few bucks to repair them from time to time.

Would the higher end shoes be more breathable due to better design and material?

depends on the shoe. If it's goodyear welted then it can be resoled

and if you have sweaty stank ass feet you'd have an issue with every end of shoe. High end, low end, medium end....

That's because those junk Aldo shoes have glued on soles.

Real leather shoes like AE, Alden, C&J with GYW have leather soles that let your feet breath.

What material of socks are you wearing? Also leather has better anti-funk smelling properties than synthetic leathers.

Plastic dress shoes don't breathe. it's like bagging ur feet in plastic bags. What's it like when u wear rain boots? Probably a similar experience, right?

As for designer brand shoes, u should be buying them with the intention of wearing them now, not expecting to wear them years and decades later. This is because fashion trends change over time, ur tastes change, etc.

I would purchase a style that is very classic & timeless.
Unless im getting old and theres no such thing...

But im sure there is. Of course this is all due to google research and not personal fashion experience. Im pretty basic. A bit ghetto even. You should see my collection of beer tshirts!

Buy a pair of good quality shoes (Allan Edmonds,Alden, etc) and give them a go.

At what price range can i start getting these and from where?
Probably $400 or so. I cop everywhere but you might as well give leatherfoot a call and see what they have.

Make sure you use these between wears, a soon as the shoes come off at home.
