The coupon says valid for dining in as well but then I'm sure you'd have to show the actual coupon which is why ordering online is the workaround
Got a coupon flyer in the mail for Swiss Chalet with these deals and more (hard copy).

We used to use the SC260 coupon. Then we found that most of the Swiss Chalets near us now have Skipthedishes. Using a Referral Code will net $7 for both you and the referrer. Two quarter chicken dinners is $20 - $7 = $13 + tax. It's cheaper than the coupon code.

By the time you upgrade one meal to white meat (you will only get a leg unless you upgrade) and pay the taxes, you're over $20 with only enough food for one person, given the smaller portions Swiss Chalet now serves. I used to eat at their restaurants at least twice a month and I really liked their chicken and fries. I think it's been two years since my last meal there.

For $20 I can go elsewhere and get much more value, even without it being a "special".
100% agree with you. I used to eat there 2-3x a month but stopped when the chicken started to get ridiculously small. For $20 you can order a la carte the whole Swiss Chalet chicken. I would prefer to grab a Longo's Wednesday night roasted chicken for $8.99 instead and buy the sauce. Still much cheaper than this.

All I'm getting after logging on, adding the dinners and the code are code invalid and a bunch of session timeouts. Epic Fail Swiss Chalet. Faster to hop in the car and drive to Metro. Furthermore their site doesn't remember my delivery address so every time it times out I have to add it again. If I delete all my cookies the default delivery address is 400 miles away, which I've deleted countless times! Done with these guys.

so according to this deal you are essentially paying $60+ for a single chicken? (4xQuarter dinner). That's nuts! Back in the day there were little rotissere choices - now virtually every grocery shop has em for $10 or so.

swiss chalet is so much better for take out than dine in
something about the restaurants always make it seem cold
probably the lack of customers and the massive unused space
I actually prefer to eat in since the food has had less time to sit or steam in a closed plastic container. yes, I agree there is a certain hollowness to the restaurant and I can never
really feel comfortable walking on the greasy floors.

Haven't seen your coupon but entering SC260 for an online delivery order didn't work for me just now. Your post didn't say dine-in/takeout only. Maybe you should post the actual coupon so we can see it? Already wasted 15 minutes on their buggy web site with invalid coupon messages.

SC260, SC261 and SC262 are dine and take-out only. SC263, SC264 and SC265 are delivery only. SC272 says dine-in and walk-in take out only (7.99 for one quarter chicken dinner Mon to Thu until 3pm)
