I don't know if you can call those chickens. They are so small now.

Just get two costco chickens and some fresh bread and have a feast instead. The portions at Swiss Chalet have gotten ridiculously small. Perhaps good enough for a small child.

I haven't noticed if the chicken is smaller but it is still a great deal at 2 for 14.99. I have tried their burger for lunch and it was really good too.

Maybe they are grain fed and not pumped up with Hormones and look the way chickens should look.

Not a bad price for 2. I wasn't too pleased with the portion size of the dark meat the last time I went there. It turns out the dark meat is just 96 grams portion while the white meat is 156 grams according to their website. I guess portion control is a good thing for health reasons, but I felt hungry after having my meal last time. At least I won't feel unsatisfied if I go out and get 2 meals, plus can save leftovers for later

They use fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens.

Canada banned the use of hormones in Canadian poultry on March 4, 1963.

By the time you pay for the white meat upgrade on one portion and pay the taxes, you're at $20. For the same money there are many other better fast food options, such as chicken burritos.

If you have the hankering though, spend to money and get what you want !

You really notice this when going for KFC "south of the border", gross weird chicken. I think there was a mini-dispute about it (Canadian businesses refusing to buy US chicken) but not sure if it ever got to NAFTA.

Uh no... it's 2 dinners. So extra fries (or other side dish), extra roll and extra dipping sauce.
