Just don't do it!

I did the switch from Samsung to Apple about 4 moths ago and I am going back to Samsung now.

I gave it an honest run but I miss too many things.

Here is a list of my gripes.

1. Missing Smartlock Feature
2. Virtual Keyboard constantly switching
3. SwiftKey App is terrible
4. Chrome App is terrible
5. Not able to put widgets on home screen
6. Not able to setup VPN back to home
7. Unable to add custom launchers
8. Can't mirror the phone on any TV's at home
9. Audible App is terrible
a. Can't purchase on the app
b. No auto rewind when stopping
10. Can't add files to device
a. Music Files
b. Audiobooks
11. OneDrive doesn't background upload
12. Volume of ringer is not separate from keyboard haptic
13. Lock screen does not have a separate timeout feature
14. Notifications don’t allow you to respond back
15. Can't have multiwindow apparently
a. Can't have what's app video run at the same time as other things
16. No fingerprint reader
17. Can't use Siri to search the Web for phone numbers of businesses while driving
18. Can't use messenger on a windows computer
19. Can change the default map apps to Waze

I went from a BlackBerry to an iPhone 7 Plus

That lasted six months before I switched to the Pixel.

... but, I am also an iPad user.

It really depends on how you use your phone. I just use my phone for emails and calls. I run few apps.

If you run a lot of apps, you will find the experience better on iOS. The apps just run better. If you like to customise your experience, then google is better. I find the calendar better on iOS, but the email better on Android (default apps).

I like the finger print reader on my Pixel 3XL, but I also like Face ID on my iPad Pro. Google Assistant is better than Siri
