I paid through paypal. WARNING: Paypal thought it was a scheduled payment. Cancel that immediately so you don't get dinged again.
I thought this was very shady for Synergy to do ... not sure if it was intentional or unintentaional.

Also, they charge in GBP not USD and the exchange rate is less favorable.

Take special notice at the bottom. On Oct 6, exchange was 1.2527. I was charged 1.26, very reasonable. Perhaps it was your credit card that dinged you, not Symless? I was charged in USD.

I used the PayPal payment option - their PayPal integration is messed up.

1. There is no payment confirmation screen, so I don't know how much is being billed.
2. Currency is set to GBP - Paypal's GBP to CAD conversion is not favourable
3. They setup a PayPal billing agreement rather than a one time purchase

I think whoever did their website did a quick PayPal hackjob and wasn't done very well.

I got my money refunded - repurchased through Stripe (Pay with Credit Card) and it's all good now.
