Thanks and thanks clicked to you and others who provided good info.
Not interested in the N7 myself but that's a good deal.

I wonder why all the PB haters aren't here posting there $99 64GB playbook deals, or the $49 16GB playbook deals. Oh that's right.... reality set in, and there aren't any. The PB for $118 was a great price and it seems RIM doesn't have the same sense of urgency. They likely are selling briskly enough at 148.
If you are willing to buy a chinese brand, they have dropped like crazy.
The hipstreet Aurora is $78 at walmart, down from 98. It's.... ok. The equivalent chinese ones are going foir $55-65 delivered. For a bit better quality/specs, the regular 1GHz dual core 7" are less than $100, but I would recommend the Ainol Crystal and up.
Check out focalprice and Buyincoins, and Pandawill. Although Pandawill whiffed on my purchase, and lied about their ship date so I am still waiting for 2 Crystals from them. Take that advice with a grain of salt. I am sure they all make mistakes.

It was $150 in mid Dec, that was a good price but I passed because of proprietary connector. Acer A110 is on sale for same price with dual core but the screen and the design are ugly.

Acer iconia a110 for $148 at Walmart is a good deal. Similar to nexus 7 with lower resolution but adds microsd and microhdmi.
Imho better than the tab 2.

I want the Nexus 7 but Im struggling with the price point of it... This Acer looks pretty decent for the price. Im just worried about the screen. Theres quite a difference in resolution between the Nexus and the Acer.
How noticeable is it in day to day usage?
