I have no doubt 95% of RFDers know this, but I didn't. Ever 10-12K you get a free rotation and re-balance. Not sure if this is normal for tire shops (last few sets I've bought in the states and wasn't worth the drive to do so) - but this was a surprise that pushed me over the edge to get tires there.
Does this free tires rotation mean switching front and rear tires ? If so, it would be kind of useless for me as I don't drive that much per year. If we buy both sets of summer and winter tires from CanadianTire, can they switch between 2 sets of tires ? I highly doubt they would that, but just aski...
I have 4 used rims (they are very light) to ship to a friend in the US (Rochester, NY) as a gift. Canada Post quoted me $55/each (cheapest 4-day travel time option) or $88/each (with insurance/tracking), which seems quite high. Is there a cheaper way of doing this please?
