The last digital camera I bought was a waterproof Sony point-n-shoot. It's like a 12 year old model, and image quality is more or less on par with modern cell phones. I am interested in getting a better camera for taking travel pictures (day & night). Criteria: - $500 budget - Not too bulky - Durabl...

... This is because phone cameras (as advanced as they are) will still be quite limited. After much research, I'm thinking of getting the Canon EOS m100, mainly for the following reasons: - APS-C sensor, beating out many of those Prosumer 1-inch sensor compacts - Still a small size compared to most ...

If you had to choose between either a gimbal or a tripod what would you pick for travel? You can only pick one or neither because a tripod and a gimbal will not fit in or on your bag conveniently.

So I am keeping my eye out for Sony to release the next gen of the a6500. Once that happens, I am hoping the a6500 drops in price, hopefully. Now, how do I tell which lens fits on this unit. I have seen full frame Sony lenses also fit, will this require an adapter? I also know Sigma makes lenses spe...

The reviews on the just released Huawei Mate 20 Pro consistently give it high praises for the camera saying it is the best one available, rivaling full sized DSLR/mirrorless cameras. Taking a look at the sample photos in those reviews, I think the Mate 20 Pro is taking better photos than a DSLR/mirr...

Hi where's the best place to get all my old photos scanned into digital in the kitchener-waterloo area? I have over a 1000 photos that need to be scanned. I'd rather pay a little more for high quality scanning and removing dust/artifacts/folds. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Hi. I Used to get picture framing done at Jin Yong framing in Markham on Esna Park. He was extremely affordable and provided the discount to artists. I noticed recently that he has gone out of business so I’m looking for an alternative. Any suggestions would be appreciated

For years I took photos before ever printing them, then I decided to print some but went with standard Black's prints (when they still existed!) and whichever plain black frame fit and wasn't crazy expensive (a few from Blacks or Michaels) Needless to say I feel like I've done my work a disservice. ...

What do guys think of this camera from the specs so far? Here's my opinion. What i like: -5655 focus points (100% horizontal coverage, 88% vertical coverage), that's insane. - -6EV low light focus, pretty insane as well. What i don't like -Essentially weight and cost of everything, ...

I was at my local MEC in vancouver yesterday and noticed they had a SIGN by customer service saying they get way too much silica gel packs and you can have for free. Mine was already pre-packaged with maybe 20 of them. Great ot have around camera gear. Go to your local MEC and reuse!
