Hello, So my brother has 75Mbps plan from some years ago and recently I was fooling around with the configuration menu in his Hitron CODA 4582 modem. I ran a speedtest on my phone and his internet was getting about 500Mbps down, 27Mbps up. I didn't think of it much as I thought maybe ...

... 100M cable internet service. A few weeks ago, I experienced an outage. I called their tech support, and they diagnosed a hardware issue with my Hitron CDA3-20 modem. They decided to ship a new Hitron CDA3-35 modem to me. To make a long story short, the internet issue ended up being a problem ...

How often do you have to factory reset your modem? If I leave mine as is for too long, I start getting really bad packet loss and have to do the factory reset with the button on the back. For example, I just pined google.ca and lost 5/30 packets. After a reset 0/30 I find myself having to do this at...

I have this modem/router from Rogers and I also have a lot of TP-Link Kasa smart home items (switches, lights, plugs, etc) which only run on 2.4 GHz. I seem to have hit a limit where anything new I add won't sync up properly. Is there a limit on how many 2.4 GHz connections can be active on this mod...

So I've had this CGN2-ROG modem sitting in my closet. Purchased it outright a while ago when upgrading to the faster plans only for it to be replaced by the CGN3. Any way I can repurpose this to function as something else? (Switch, wifi extender/repeater) or is it basically trash? Does Rogers still ...
