When I logged in last week I noticed I got offered 3.33% for 90 days on all new deposits. That's not bad.

Are you sure it's not 3.22%? (As in "Hi Bylo, Sorry for the interruption, but we couldn't wait to let you know that you've qualified for a special interest rate offer. New deposits, up to $500,000, to your Tangerine Savings Account(s) and Tax-Free Savings Accounts made from Jul 05, 2017 to Sep 30, 2017 will earn 3.22% interest* until Sep 30, 2017.")

AFAIK no one else has posted in this thread that they got more than 3.22%.

Just doubled checked. You are correct!

3.22% for near zero risk is pretty damn good. Don't even want to think about how much I lost in the past month lol

and they are still no budging on 0.8% regular rate despite BoC increased 0.25%. Last 2 times on the way down, they cut it both times :(

I guess I can't blame them for that. After all, why would they reward anyone foolish enough to leave money rotting @ 0.80% ?

This is why you should let me make a poll thread without merging it into this one.
POLL: How frequent is your RRSP-matching?
Plastiq: Pay any bill with credit card for 0-2.5% fee (help meet min spending and keep old cards active!)
Rewards program transfer times (e.g. SPG->Aeroplan, Marriott->SPG, Amex MR->SPG...)

If Tangerine not offering you the 2.5% go to RBC 2.15% click here for RBC until Dec 1 2017 as per the fine print “Promotional Interest Rate” is the Bonus Interest Rate plus the Regular Interest Rate" after RBC Regular interest rate went up last week also the HISA from 2.00% 2.15% (of course there is Oaken and EQ)

From the details, RBC don't mention what are the charges for transferring your funds to another financial institution. Do you know what they are?

Are you asking about a registered account transfer? TFSA ... ??

I'm referring to the RBC High Interest eSavings account. That should be a regular HISA and not tied to TFSA or RRSP. I see it specifically says it's free to transfer the funds to another RBC account but nothing about transferring to another FI.

Oh, you mean how much does a debit transaction cost?

You can link another RBC account with unlimited transfers to your external account (via Tangerine or EQ microdeposit links) and transfer with a pull from the other side for free.
If you don't have another account then you have to burn a debit. The USD account has 1 free debit per month, not sure about CAD, but it's probably $3/debit max. Looks CAD one is similar... Ya, looks like you get 1/mo free, so don't worry about it. It's only charged a fee if you use more than 1 debit, and the transfers within RBC don't count against you (they are 'free').

Looks like it is $5:

Monthly Debits included6 1
Debits Exceeding Monthly Limits $5.00

Tangerine 0.8 % should be at least 1 % by now.

Looks like RBC is the only bank which has reacted to the rate increase :(

Does anyone have two accounts under the same login? Do you get the same interest rate on both?
I want to allocate some of my savings to personal stuff, and some of them for home and renovations. I want to keep them separate and the interest earned separate as well.
