So if I sign up for a Chequing account today using my sister's Orange Key and switch my direct deposit pay to Tangerine, I can get $50 + $120?
I'd like to know this too, would I be getting both bonuses?

It will take you 3 months to make that $120 but still good

I'd also like to know how this would work for existing customers. I already have a chequing and savings account with tangerine but I've never switched my payroll. Would I be eligible for the payroll bonus?
In OP's post - point 5 sates existing clients are eligible.

Has there ever been a better deal for payroll enrolment that might roll around again sometime this year?

$120 is the highest for Payroll Bonus that Tangerine's had.

I called them and I've apparently received a payroll bonus of $100 in the past (3 years ago) so I'm technically not eligible for this promotion. Did anyone in a similar situation successfully got them to make an exception?

They will not make exceptions. If you have received a payroll bonus in the past, you are not eligible.

The same goes for New Account bonus. If you have had a ING/Tangerine account in the past (even if closed for a long time), you will not receive the Orange Key referral bonus on sign up again.

If I start direct deposits before deal expiry date (end of March?) I can start any time before End of March to get all 12 weeks of bonus? Or do the bonuses end at end of March?

See "Example 3" on the OP for your answer. :)

If you are not able to see it on line... Give them a call.
Log in, under My info and options, there is a link to see your past bonuses.

Curious about this too. Opened account with a bonus back in early Nov.
My employer also lets me split up deposits (up to three accounts) and I just shuffled it to my liking already. I'll need to check on this too.

My brother just opened up a Tangerine account. He does not get direct deposits. His employer gives him a cheque. If he deposits the cheque using the Tangerine app by taking a picture of it and this is done consistently every 2 weeks will he get this bonus?
