I went to customer service with my receipt and product and told them to scan it. It scanned at $11.99 and they refunded me the difference. The senior CSR told me that the price will not go down anymore due to the 3 red sticker rule they have.
Thanks, got mine price protected. Was going to get 2 more at this price, but place is picked clean.

No can do. They are labelled at $19.99 and scans in at $19.99. It did not "scan wrong". How do you prove that they're $11.99 without talking to the clerk? It is not advertised at that price anywhere.
You quoted me before I realized I was wrong and deleted my posted. My allergy meds hadn't kicked in yet and I was a little foggy. Anyways I thought you said they scanned for $11.99 but since it is a lower price, SCOP wouldn't apply which was why I deleted my post.

I saw these the other day for $29.99 so I passed. I went back today hoping for $11.99 but I was too late.

I also saw the JVC Marshmallows for $9.99 at one store but $13.99 at another. I picked up one pack to scan but it came up as price not available so I'm not sure if Target has different clearance prices in different stores. At the store with the higher price, I noticed some other clearance items that were also higher including one with a sign saying 50% off whereas the other store had 70% off. I did notice other items with higher clearance prices on the main display but were marked lower on a secondary display. It may be they just haven't marked everything down yet.

There's around 20 at Square (lots of white and purple, a few blue) but they ring up at 39.99. If you find someone with one of those portable price checkers they can confirm the clearance price of 11.99.

The Hopedale (Oakville) location had about 30 left at around noon (in 3 colours: silver, dark blue and orange). They also had the JVC marshmallow headphones and a gummy pair for $5.99. When the cashier cashed me out my total for each player came to $30+. I let her know that the clearance price was $11.99 (got an electronics rep to scan it with a gun) and she adjusted the price.

I am confused - don't those portable price checkers use the same source as the cash registers, indicating 39.99?

I went back to Centrepoint to price protect and yes they did give me the $11.99 price. The CSR behind me that was doing a staff purchase said that is the final clearance price. They can't mark the price down any lower after 3 red stickers -- $33.99 > $27.99 > $19.99 > $11.99.

Thanks agent86
Thanks for updating the OP to acknowledge my sighting at East York Town Centre. Appreciate it.

London Masonville had lots, but they are still ringing up at $19.99. Decided to wait until they drop the price further.

We now know that the answer to your question is a resounding "No".

Go back and get it price adjusted to $11.99. Ask an associate with a "price gun" for a price check.

None at London Westmount. From what I could tell, they've either cleared them all out or they never carried them. Didn't see any reference to Sansa products.
Damn, saved me a trip anyhow... bummer.

I might have been wrong, because later I went to Masonville and it seemed like the same thing there, no reference to Sansa in the Electronics section, but the CSR there said they were on the first floor in a clearance bin. Might also be the case at Westmount, but the CSR there didn't have a clue.

Either way, it rang up at $19.99, so I'll wait till they mark it down again. They had at least 50 of them at Masonville.

The individual hand scanners ring them in as 11.99. I picked up a couple at Masonville. Just tell the cashier that and they'll fix it for you.
