Based upon my last top up (from my vague memory) I recall they end up storing the credit card info without the option to opt out. Ie auto populate 'Personal Info'

Now with Koho Prepaid Visa and free $10 referral, good option to protect our info.
I have the habit of changing credit # to prevent this usu around 18 months for security purpose. All you need is to call visa/MC to send you another card. That is it.

I have a SIM from Tbaytel and live in Kitchener area. For personal reasons I would like to add voice service for 15 days (something like 100 mins is ok).
Can I accomplish this? Would it be considered roaming? Rates?
I can see the option to add sms add-ons but not voice. Thanks

If your account was setup as pay per use, which I'm guessing it was, then well minutes are charged pay per use as long as there's a postive $ account balance: at 20 cents incoming, 40 cents outgoing (covered in 1st 2 posts in this thread).

You cannot add/mix a 'voice' package with the 20GB $125 deal.

Add $100 to account to extend account for 1 year. If you don't need more data now, don't bother adding any. Your unused data will remain as long as account is active.

Repeat every year.

Longer term, when you need data, if you have $125 stored on the account, add the 20GB "add-on" again (it's the cheapest per GB)

I confused, my Account Balance Expiry Date is 2017/10/28 while my Data expires on 2017/08/29 , should I add $100 on Aug 29 or Oct 28?

I still have a lot data and my usage is around 500m per month, any suggestion to top up ?

Thanks

My understanding is that your data does not expire until Oct 28.
You can easily verify that on Aug 30 to see if your data is there or not.

If the data is gone and I add fund on Aug 30, can I get the data back?
Thanks

Yes, use the automated phone system to top up. Top up $100 once a year so that the sim stays alive. Data rolls over just as long as you top up once a year.

@Rickwu:
Did your data expire on Aug 28?
When did you add funds and what are your expiry dates now?

Since when did they start saving the personal info while top up using online? I topped up online with credit card last year, and it was fine.
Thanks

Please advise how you can obtain a tbaytel sim. Are you getting it from a tbaytel dealer and how much? Thanks.

Is there any way to recover a tbaytel sim card/account that has been expired? The number and account login no longer works.

You will have to contact customer service to see if they can re-activate the sim and account.
