i find that their steaks are not that fresh or good but the place is good if you want food at a late hour
they charge you for everything but ask in a way that sounds like its included such as "what kind of drink do you want?" ($2)
then they ask you if you want these condiments that I assumed would go with it (i was wrong)
onions? sure($2)
mushrooms? okay ($2)
gravy? why not? ($2)
etc... $$$$
bam! your $15 steak becomes a $25+ meal when you could have gone to a nicer restaurant to eat out at (not a steak house or anything fancy but someplace where you can get a decent meal with a nice atmosphere instead of fastfood seating tables).
$20+ for a fast food steak just isnt worth it for me at least
that was my first time. ive been there a few times since but i try to avoid that place if possible.

I've only been there once a few years ago and thought it was ok. I had the biggest steak they serve and it wasn't bad, a little salty but that's the way I usually make mine anyway. I was expecting it to be dreadful but for what I paid it wasn't bad.
It's a little grimy though, they've had some dinesafe infractions as well:

only good thing it's a 24hr steakhouse, if you have the munchies late at night.

Their burgers are pretty good from what I recall.
I used to go to this place a lot when the 25cent arcades were still open

best part of tbones is their hours. 24/7.
burgers - 2/5
steak - 2/5
not disgusting. nothing to rave about.
i'd suggest, if you order steak, to order at least a medium. i wouldn't trust them with anything less than medium cooked.

We go there all the time. Whenever we want a cheap steak. Yes, the NY sirloin is not the best grade out there(probably single A), but for $11.99 a pound of it comes with a bun and a salad is indeed quite cheap. I can live with the average quality of the steak. However, I prefer their chicken souvlaki dinner for about $9 plus tax. My wife loves their sirloin burger and I find it quite good as well, not to mention that it is quite cheap for the size of the burger plus fries as a daily combo. Their lumber jack breakfast is also good if you can get in there before 11am before they stop serving breakfast items. You won't believe how packed this place can be in the middle of the night when most other places are closed for business. Many police cruisers stop by and get their lunch and dinnder too. This place not only opens 24 hours/ 7 days, it literally opens 365 1/4 days a year so we tend to visit them on those public holidays when everywhere is closed. I still remember one time we went out looking for food around 1AM on January 1st a few years ago and only found T Bones open so we went in to have a burger and a steak. We were shocked to see the line up in there, and finding a place for us to sit was a chore. If you have not gone there before, then try it out at least once whenever opportunity presents itself, and you may be surprised, who knows.
