I opened this card sometime early last year and canceled it a couple month ago when the annual fee was charged, The posting says "if you have opened in 6 month you are not eligible for the bonus". Will I get the bonus points? Unclear if that 6 month is 6 months from the opening date or closing date.

Thanks for your help!

They told me the same thing. Not sure if it's a coincidence, soon after I paid off the first statement $120, the rebate showed up.
I got charged the $120 as well. So I need to pay it off and then I'll get it credited...? I just want it credited and not have to pay it off...

Cold as authorized user gets yearly fee applied.
That's not what they told me when they added the AU, guess I gotta call in and cancel then..

It looks like milestones:
- Annual fee was credited when I paid off the $120 which was shown alone in a short billing cycle (3 days).
- 15000 sign up bonus points came with the second bill, regular and monthly.
I got promoted to Jr. Member, after 4,000 days of waiting. Cheers!

Last time I added the second user in the 8th month. They didn't charge user fee and I got the 5000 bp right away.

I called TD yesterday and the agent told me I need to spend $1000 to get the reward miles. And I tried to ask if she can give me $50 credit since GCR offers $50 to apply through its link. She said NO. She asked me to go to that website and apply for the card there if I found a better offer.

Small foot note indicates the $120 will be rebated within 2-3 billing cycles. Seems like no choice but to pay if off first and then get it credited.

Thanks! Applied!

If you read the fine print:

15,000 first purchase - doesn't indicate a minimum purchase
10,000 - keep account open for 90 days after approval
Annual fee rebate - will be reversed within 2 monthly statements

I got the same thing when I called in today to upgrade my TD Visa card. The offer for existing customers is 25K upfront, 10K after 90 days during which you have to spend $1000, and 5K for the additional user. And no FYF, although I was offered 50% off the annual fee. They wouldn't do any better on the annual fee unless you have a chequing account in which you can keep a $5000 minimum balance.

I'll probably phone back and take them up on it tomorrow; I suppose I can always revert to a TD Green card in year 2 if I'm not spending enough to make the annual fee worthwhile.

has anyone managed to switch/transfer an existing (non-aeroplan) TD credit card onto this promo?

They told me that I need to spend $1000 within 90 days for the extra 10k points. I have spent more than that much but the 10k points were not post at the same time. Better to keep account open for 90 days AND spend $1000.
