They told me that I need to spend $1000 within 90 days for the extra 10k points. I have spent more than that much but the 10k points were not post at the same time. Better to keep account open for 90 days AND spend $1000.
Thank you . Will do that.

Thanks. Will spend the $1000 to get the extra points then, to hopefully get a flight. Thank you.

Can someone clarify this minimum spend of $1000?

From this page: http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/products-s ... Code=Sb6l9
"10,000 Aeroplan Miles when you keep your Account open, active and in good standing for 90 days after Account approval" It doesn't say anything about a minimum $1000 spend. Unless the "open, active and good standing" implies that but I don't see any mention of minimum spending in the Legal section either.

@youbet Are you sure that rep wasn't mistaken? I would ask him/her to read the Legal section because it does not say it there.

Called tonight - they said it has to be a brand new application, can't transfer from one td card to this one and get the offer. Even checked with manager. Disappointing... maybe I'll look at the all inclusive chequing account.

Hi.

Just applied and got approved for this card.

I recall reading from another thread that you can get another 10,000 pts by calling in to link the visa to your bank account. Does anyone know how that works?

Thanks

Many customer service reps are unaware about this specific promotion. When I called to activate my acction, my rep assumed that a $1,000 spend was necessary as well, however when I asked her to double check with the system, she transferred me to another individual and was able to verify that this was NOT necessary with this promo. Still waiting for my points though.

Thanks for that. I read that 1.000 was not necessary so guess it's just the reps not really knowing.

Just FYI, i checked with TD and they confirmed that "Fee for one authorized user and the primary cardholder" is waived if you hold the All inclusive account with them.

Anyone getting an error filling in the application from GCR? After it asks me to review my information, it just gives an error that there is a problem asking me to go to a branch or call them. I tried on 2 different days and cleared the Cache as well but it didn't work.

"If you have opened an Account in the last 6 months, you will not be eligible for these offers."

What exactly does this line imply? I've had a TD card for years, just upgraded it to a First Class Travel last month (and got the 20,000 bonus TD points with that). Just saw this offer, if I were to change my card from the FC Travel to this card would I still get the Aeroplan points? Or does the fact that I upgraded my card last month disqualify me from this offer?

Thanks!

I just transferred my FC Visa Infinite to the TD Aeroplan Visa on the weekend and the CSR told me I am eligible for the bonus points (15,000 after my first purchase with the card and 10,000 after spending $1000 in the first 90 days). And because I transferred from one card to the other, I had to transfer my TD points to Aeroplan (4:1). I have made my first purchase with the card but the points haven't shown up in my account yet.

TD All-Inclusive account waives up to $170 worth of annual fees. For most cards, this will cover the primary + 1 authorized user.

Is FYF included with the Platinum card too or just the Infinite?
