I have the same issue and I was told 2 different reps, 2 different things:
- one rep told me to wait until my next cycle ends, on the 23rd (spent the $2k on Oct 5)
- second rep told me that the 10% bonus CB would only be posted after the 90 day promotion period is over

Seems from some users here that it should be posted instantly. Can anyone confirm otherwise?

Previous pattern is that the 10% posts within a few days of the transaction being incurred (2-5 days).

So I've got my free $200 (x 2, got a card for my wife too) and now I don't need this card anymore. Is the best advice to cancel the card and try to take advantage again next time this offer comes available? Or downgrade to a no AF card and lower my credit limit to $1k, then attempt to get future WB's by upgrading the card >6 months from now?

Please advise!

Applied for this and got denied, but they approved me for the TD Aeroplan Visa Inifnite card before, so it must not be due to my credit score? Oh well.

Just did my 2nd PS from Rewards to Cashback Infinite, the rep didn't ask about my previous switch 1 month ago to CBI. Confirmed with him twice that I will be getting the 10% CB and he says yep.

Lots of conflicting reports recently around switching back and forth to cbi card to get 10% bonus and annual fee waived.

Is it just a case of YMMV depending on the rep you get?

Did the same thing but switched from Aeroplan VI(after having it for 6 months) to CBI. The rep told me right away that i'm gonna receive the WB. almost a month passed. No bonus so far. Statement should be generated by the end of the month I guess, will see if I get that WB after all. If not, gonna call to review this with CSR.

Sorry if I missed the post that answers my question already. I have TD Aeroplan Infinite and tried to do product switch. The rep told me that there is 6 month period where you cannot switch the product after getting the card. I got my Aeroplan back in Jun, so the rep said to call back after November. Can anyone confirm that this is normal?

Doesn't matter what rep says. If you had Visa Infinite card within last 6 months they will not honor welcome bonus.

Not necessarily. There are countless DP's here suggesting otherwise.
