Do you think it's worth just to park 5k there to get $500?
Yes. You won't really find an 3-month investment with a 10% guaranteed return, anywhere. Let alone a tax-free one.

Ahahahahaha...I like how this was left out of the original post. There is nothing HOT about this deal, and they stand to gain more from you than you from them.
For anyone who is loaded and can leave 5k plus in their account untouched, then this might be enticing
"- No monthly fee if you have $5,000 at the end of each day"
And feel free to show us when you can get a 10% return in 1-2 months with no work.

Hit up the live chat on the application page and the agent said the link is fraudulent. When it's literally posted on their website lol.
If you navigate the site normally and go to the all inclusive account page, and add '/dcr' to the end of the url you get the same page the fb add links to, so I'm thinking going through the ad works, but hopefully somebody can get confirmation.

Edit: After further review from an agent, the offer is for TD customers who don't have a chequing account...

To add: Monthly fee is $29.95
Why are people surprised by monthly banking fees?

I moved from the UK and I was surprised by this at first, but all banks seem to charge some sort of fee with an account with any kind benefit. The free account literally only allows you one transaction a month for free. And again, nearly all account expect a minimum balance per month to have the fee rebated.

Agree with the other posters, you can't get anywhere near a 10% return for just parking some money for a few months and doing nothing.

Just can’t understand how you target people who have never been customers?
Simple. The Ts and Cs don't say anything about not being a TD customer. They say that
1. You must have received an email offer.
2. You don't "Already have a TD chequing account or Youth Account or had either one of these accounts that was closed on or after March 10, 2018; or"
3. You haven't "Received any chequing account offer from TD in 2016, 2017, 2018"

Consequently if you're a customer who has some other line of business with TD, e.g. savings account, credit card, LoC, mortgage, insurance, brokerage, etc. then you could be a qualifying customer AND they'd have your email address on file. Unless you explicitly forbade it, they'd also be able to use that email to send you this offer.

IOW there's nothing contradictory about the email requirement. This offer may simply be targeted towards existing TD customers that they want to cross-sell the All-In account.

Yeah but it requires setting up a bunch of stuff like Payroll which is annoying...Also I don't want to fight a CSR about not being eligible since I did not receive the mailer/nor do I use facebook lol

Being a long time TD customer, I asked my bank manager the same question many times. The answer is NO.

Bit the bullet and applied using the link in OP as I wasn't targeted.
Called in and CSR confirmed that the promotion has been applied to my account.
It's my first ever account with TD.

They overlooked my previous year promotion in 2018. I doubt I can get away with it again unless maybe I hint at moving my money out of TD. Even then probably not.
