TD: Beyond Micro 250GB Ext USB Drive $106.99-$50MIR = $56.99
Went to tigerdirect.ca store in Heartland and they have this thing below the web advertised price... Currently in store at $106.99 and with the $50 rebate gets you the drive for $56.99. Smoking deal for 250GB.

If it is this (refurb) the UPC/SN will be different with PDF rebate:

Watch out TD's MIR. I got my first one (20$) this year but for the 50$ of my laptop bought in summer I had to write many emails to 'beg' to get it (just receive it now after on the web status displayed 'check was sent' for almost two months - you would wonder how many weeks for a check in the mail to reach you:-)). Onrebate is just a spamer however my 50$ check was sent from Markham (TD?), sent couple days ago - go figure. But I had to tell them that I will go report them at ripoff.com.

I had >5 months waiting before I got my rebate a year ago for 120G maxtor. You might have to write them emails every week or threaten to kick their axx - if they have:-)
I would avoid them if I find any other store/deal.

Nope this is not refurbished and the guy at TD checked and verified that this unit qualifies for the $50 rebate... yes you have to keep your eye on the rebates and keep good documentation as thisthis happens with all stores... ie Future Shop, Compusmart etc.

Thanks OP.
Can you please confirm that you have these codes:
Item #: B800-1110
UPC: 925787320000
As for rebate with Onrebate, the biggest problem is delaaay to approve and further delaaaay to send out the check. I hope most of the RFDers already know how to submit rebates properly.
BTW, do you happen to know what harddisk drive is inside this box?
