Teeth Whitening for $64
If you live in Winnipeg and want your teeth whitened here's your chance... the company is called Vivid Smiles. I got my teeth whitened today and I only paid $64. They have a special in groupon right now and it's only until Saturday. They did a great job, the result is great and I felt no sensitivity. I was surprise because even Crest White Strips make my teeth sensitive. Check out their website, www.vividsmiles.ca.

hear me out on this as a few of my family work in the field - go to a real dentist when doing this. it is not any more expensive and you will save your teeth from premature disintegration, especially those in-store kits which just eat away your enamel.

I wish that was true.. I got my teeth whitened before at the dentist and it cost me $600. It was so painful, my teeth got so sensitive it felt like I was chewing on foil. I know a lot of people want to get this done but the cost prevents many from doing it. I talked to my dentist before getting it done because I was worried about the sensitivity and he said it was okay. He said this company doesn't use the same chemicals as to what they use and he was honest enought to say to try it. I suggest to everyone to do some research and ask questions, if you're really worried talk to your dentist... I'm happy with the results so I just want to share this with everyone.

It cost anywhere from $300 to $600... I got mine done over a year ago for closer to $600! The procedures they use to whiten your teeth are identical, they both use an LED light but the difference is the ingredients they have to whiten your teeth. The one they used on me by the dentist made my teeth really sensitive and gave me random shocks throughout the day. I didn't feel anything with this procedure today and it gave me the same results that I got from the dentist.

they're "distributors" for bleachbright, which is just another peroxide based bleach same as the ones you'd find over the counter, but those sell for 1/4-1/2 as much. essentially you're paying the difference for their so called labour and zero dental health expertise. for labour they do hover a common led light over your teeth to try to speed up the peroxide, but there is no net benefit after a few days. you probably felt more sensitivity at the dentist's because they're allowed to use a bit higher concentration peroxide. even so, i googled and most studies report ~50% positive sensitivity, including those which use potassium nitrate, which this company claims to be their silver bullet to an absurd 2% positive tooth sensitivity. but what do you expect from sales people, not dental health professionals.
if you want safe comprehensive care, go pay the dentist his/her premium.
if you want to save some money, go to a canadian tire like another poster said.
this is the worst of both worlds.

I value my dentist's opinion and he said it was safe and gave me the okay to try it. The person who did my whitening didn't claim to be a dentist and also suggested to talk to my dentist if I had dental concerns. So, you are telling me that they use a lesser concentration of peroxide that the dentist use. With that said maybe that's why I got the same result that I would have gotten if I did it with my dentist again. I had my teeth whitened by a dentist before and the procedure was the same, the dentist also used an LED light to whiten my teeth as well but this time around I didn't feel any pain. Why should you pay your dentist a premium when you don't have to, again it cost more because it's a premium like you mentioned, you are paying for the profession not the whitening. This people didn't do anything different that the dentist did the first time I got it done. Also I already got the opinion of my dentist before doing it. So talk to your dentist first to see if this is right for you like I did, hopefully your dentist is honest enough to say it's alright and save you some money. I wasn't planning to get my teeth whitened again until I saw this deal, it was too expensive the first time around and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. This is a fraction of the cost and I'm actually happy with the results... Bottom line, I got the results I wanted, It didn't cost me that much and also got the opinion of my dentist. Isn't that like going to the dentist!!! lol

I don't prefer to whiten my teeth with the help of dentist. Rather i am good enough and getting effective result of teeth whitening with my homemade tactics.
