handles fast motion better afaik, but lcd is getting better as it advances. my debate is dlp hdtv vs plasma in terms of lifespan dlp hdtv can replace the bulb and its good to go, plasma since it uses gas dies out eventually (approx 30 000hrs is half life), and fades overtime as well. Space isnt an issue for me, and dlp hdtv is cheaper as a bonus as well. The plasma still has many advantages though. ( i am still a n00b to learning though, and my info is rather dated)
