tell me your 2011 odyssey lx purchase
Looking to see what dealership is giving out the best deals for a 2011 Odyssey LX base.
I am curious to find out what people are paying all in for this vehicle.
Sharing is caring !!
Just got quoted $35,764.81 all in which I think is a little on the high side.

I'm interested in this thread.. Been pricing out for an EX-L.. Hopefully anyone can help with their purchasing experience from any of the model trims from the 2011 Oddysey line..
As for OP.. What's the MSRP and how much is PDI?
Also.. Can they not waive the 'fee' prior to the subtotal? Otherwise, you are staying paying the tax portion of the "fee"..
I also consider importing from US, and it's tempting considering the several thousands that can be saved. But for warranty and re-sale value, there could be some challenges.
Anyone care to share their recent Oddysey purchase experiences?

I test drove an EX yesterday at a GTA dealership. Salesperson told me the price was full list price period no discount but he suggested he'd throw in rubber floor mats. Told me there is a shortage of Odyssey's due to the earthquake in Japan causing a parts shortage.
Needless to say I headed for the door.

I priced the vehicle at Honda.ca and
It was $100 of the quote.
He did hint that they would accept a
counter offer so judging by car cost Canada
I have about 4% I can play with.
I also got the same story about demand
and the japan disaster.
The good news is they said there would
Be no penalty for breaking me civic lease
13 months early, that they would just take
The car back.

i'd either hold off and wait a while if you are dead set on having an odyssey or look at another make. i would not pay msrp for any car.

I am looking at an odyssey now as my wife is due in August and we have a civic leased through them.
So the incentive is that we get to end the civic lease early. ( 13 Months) if i pull the trigger on a new Van.

It's funny how that story gets told time and time again.. demand, blah blah blah..
While I understand that production may be slower, and quantities are few, I don't believe it's that "demanding" of a vehicle. If you find a location that has your colour/trim.. then I imagine something can be worked out. And if not, you end just playing the waiting game for the colour/trim you want. By then, maybe you'll see yourself in a 2012 version or the 2011 will be priced lower!
Hopefully, your Civic is a four-dour unlike my two-door.. If your is a four door, you'd should be okay to wait for awhile... Keep price shopping.. I'm sure eventually we'll get the deal that we are comfortable with..
Just curious... Did you consider any of the other trims higher than the LX?

No I did not ... just Base Model.
I don't want to pay more then I have to for something that does
not excite me in the least.
I would love to wait but the way I see it I'll end up paying an additional $315 x 13 payments on the civic lease and having to
fork out for new tires when i return it.
I am still lost as to what % of MSRP is an acceptable rate to ask for.

i think you can make it with the civic for the rest of your lease with a newborn. i made do with a 4 door civic with 2 kids for a while. just moved to a minivan when had the 3rd.
if you think you really really need a van now shop around and see what other dealers will do for you. look at toyota and the caravan or the sedona. guy at work had 1 yr left on his lease and hyundai dealer was more than happy to take the lease over to get him in a new car. it can be done. you are not hostage to honda
