Smartcell is now showing $400 port-in credit from Nov 19th to 26th. 2GB data bonus is still there. It's being promoted as a Black Friday deal, so doubtful we'll see anything better.

Just wondering for the special promo $80 for 8GB with $200 hardware discount, is the device prices after discount already or before. the person from smartcell doesn't seem to be too sure.

There are going to be better deals on November 23 Black Friday. I just received an email today.

I pulled the trigger today on Samsung S9 for $0 with a $48 2.5 GB plan. I gambled that additional Black Friday markdowns will probably be applicable to higher end devices priced higher than $0!

Telus EPP (Mississauga) showing $80 / 8GB and iPhone XR 256GB for $200.
Plus $200 port in credit paid out in $40 increments over 5 months.

I'm being offered a Rogers retention 10GB for $75 and an iPhone XS 256GB for $399. OR 10GB BYOP retention for $56 for two years only.
Not sure what to do.

Currently have the iPhone 6s.

On paper the Rogers deal looks better.

I think the $200 256Gb XR is with the “TELUS Bring It Back” program. It’s still $400 for me if I want to keep the phone after 2 years.

That's a good point - I better clarify if it's a Bring it Back.

Will report back.

Edit: @wytwolf You are correct. Shysters... it is $200 on the Bring it Back program; $400 without.

Telus was downtown Toronto yesterday promoting:
telus.com/BF2018

Entered my work email and got offers from smartcell. Not sure if they were anything different than discussed here.

How many of us are employees of the government? You need a government email to receive the code and give it to Telus, I believe.

Yes, you need a government email. The title of this thread is "Canada-Wide Corporate Cell Plan for Govt Employees" so I think it's implied that you need to be a government employee.
