Okay but they're free for new activations.. stop wasting our time.
Really!? Are you for real.....

Would you rather me not posting information about sales that are not posted anywhere?

They won't, I've tried a few time since my contract ended in November.
How long have you been with Telus?

Since August 2000, and under corporate since November 2014. Expired contract month to month BYOP since then. I try every month calling in and nothing, same conversation, try again in a few months. Work for Canada Post. If anything, would have taken the promotion when the 1 & 2 GB, 2.5 & 4 GB were same price. Didn't like prices of the phone for renewal. Probably wait till Christmas time this year if the promos come out again. HTC One M8 in good condition and still works.

Move to another company for 6 months With BYOP price plan.

Move back to Telus for a new phone after.

If you are not willing to do that, you will not get new activations promo.

The Samsung promo for renewals is good if you are not willing to do that.

There is a new Canada-US plan. Went on both Smartcell.ca and Clearwest.ca and they both show the new plan. Although, Clearwest.ca doesn't show a BYOP Canada-US plan. Interesting to see if they offer it as a rate plan change to a current month-to-month account, such as myself.

Thanks for sharing

They don't want to discount iPhone 7 Plus, will have to wait for next one (if I pay full price, it will be for a real new phone)

They added it after I posted I guess. Anyways, I called the Telus Corporate line and was able to switch to this plan. So I can be in Canada or the US and call & text any Canada or US number. 2.5 GB of data on a BYOP for $66.50 plus taxes. No more need for Easy Roam when I'm in the US.

Would you have access to your data while in the US? Or just voice and text?

Yes you would. It's all inclusive. So call/text/data in Canada and US. Pretty sweet plan if you ask me plus under corporate 30%. My plan is regular price $95, which is why I'm getting it for $66.50 plus taxes.
