I believe it's 48 hours after signing. My memory is foggy on that, since I have not worked for TELUS since 2007.

Buyer's remorse laws vary by province and the carriers are supposed to adhere by the provincial laws, in Ontario it should be either within 15 days of contract signing or 30 minutes used, whichever is reached first.

Buyers remorse I thought only applied to contract in 'pressured sales' setups, or when they come to you at home (i.e. door to door sales), but this says (in ontario) there is a 10 day cooling off period, but I couldn't see any information specific to cell phone contracts.

Certainly once it is used, these laws would not be of any use I would think.

Hrm... I'm not sure then, this is what both Fido and Telus told me the last time I signed a contract with them.
