It started in March 2018 when they discontinued their bundle discounts. They like to call it a replacement, but it's nowhere close to equivalent - as another poster mentioned, it's more like breadcrumbs.

Agreed. The bundle discount was way better. I like the Amazon gift cards, but it's not the same. I think they've reduced the value of tho anniversary points bonuses now too. It's always something with them, isn't it? Removing bundle discounts, removing value-added services like the antivirus for free. Even at some point changing the Internet packages so that you didn't have to pay more, but you got half the bandwidth.

Telus is on my hit list today anyway because the e-mail hasn't worked properly for three days. They're giving few if any updates on their "Neighbourhood" site and they're being almost suspiciously vague. I hope Telus hasn't been hacked. Like most companies, they would never say that right away until they can mitigate what's happened and find a spin.

I truly hope that someday RFD will add customizable filtering capability so that I can filter out posts that are of no interest to me. For example, I'd like to be able to automaticaly filter out posts that are for areas I don't live in or routinely visit, and also deals for products, services and vendors that I have no interest in e.g., Apple products, Seagate, Bell, Rogers, Steam, Dyson, etc. This would make it less time consuming for me to review the latest deals in the "Hot Deals" section. Are there any phpBB experts out there that perhaps know how to do this?

Do you earn points based on your monthly bill?

For users having 2 services and are not able to enroll, call in and ask. If you are on copper for phone and say fiber for internet, the Telus system will say you are not eligible. Tier 1 tech support will also say you are not eligible. Ask to speak with a manager. They have access to engineers on the back end to add you manually. Crazy old school system.

Really? Usually the prepaid CC they send out, like the bonus gifts when you start your offer, can be used anywhere

Yes, I noticed that myself. I was like "what?" That's why I took the Amazon gift cards.

Called the loyalty department. But my rep don't know how to enroll to the rewards program and She said I am eligible to join. She will get someone to enroll me and will call me back in a month.

When you login to your Telus account generally, you have nothing there about the rewards program that you can click on? Something that allows you to enroll? That's how I enrolled. Mind you, it was when the program originally started. It just seems odd that they're pushing it right now and have it so messed up.

If you can't enrol from the website, you can call in and an agent can call support to add you which then takes about two days.

Telus called me back today and my reward account was created and it has 51 points ATM. I am going to redeem 50 points for $50 for my next invoice.
Is there any better way to spend the reward points?

Did you just sign up with Telus? I did just recently so I guess in my case, I just have to wait for my first bill?

I was with Telus Internet and Optik about 4 years ago. IIRC, Telus reward program started last year. I had to call Telus to ask to join the reward program.
