I had exactly same issue.

That's a glitch, when one tries to do it from their website. Pls call Telus cust rep, they will fix it.

It's base with 5 premium for 20 bucks... no additional as it shows in your screen shot. Once you select your 5 premium, you cannot change them in 30 days.

And with Telus internet bundle it costs just 10 bucks.

It's $10 ongoing. The premium channels are priced accordingly ($5-$20). First month is free.

Also reminder for OptikTV customers must contact loyalty to switch to PikTV.
If we try PikTV for a month and don't like it, we won't be able to return to our previous Optik pricing correct?

Depends... People usually switch to pik TV because of the channels they watch and lifestyle. Nothing is guaranteed if you switch back and forth.

I just called into retention to cancel Optik TV to go with Pik TV. There is a slight change in the deal:

$10 per month Pik TV for existing Telus customers
First month is free
$25 for the Android TV box (instead of $100). There is no $75 credit and the $25 pricing is reflected immediately.

Thanks HoboEater!

If someone doesn't have TV with Telus, form the website, it looks like actually Internet 25 and Pik TV for $65 /month (+hardware cost). Internet 25 itself is $76/month after any promo period, so really you get a discount ont Internet 25 and free Pik? Am Ireading this correct?

Was thinking about jumping over to PikTV but lately I noticed I'm having trouble finding shows available On Demand using the Optik On The Go app/website. For example the latest episode of Supergirl (don't judge) is available On Demand on my Optik box, but not online (Optik On The Go).

Then I found this thread:
https://forum.telus.com/t5/Pik-TV/Signi ... td-p/75304

Pretty much makes PikTV a non-starter in our house as we won't wait a week or more to watch an episode.

Please pass this feedback on to the TELUS overlords @HoboEater
and a warning to everyone else: be prepared to watch your shows

Someone posted all over the Internet a bad review about Pik TV so I was a little unsure about it but with the free month and $25 hardware I gave it a go. I must say I have been surprised about the quality of the image, it definitively rivals the Optik TV service and Shaw's offerings in regards to picture and sound quality. Not too many channels are available yet but with kodi and Netflix installed I am not missing much. I get hockey and news from Telus and the rest from Kodi. Previously I was paying $5 for an IPTV service (TPK) that most of the time didn't work and was frustrating every time the dtream would needed to load. Just the hardware for this Pik service makes it worth it because its an android box that almost matches my FireTV in performance, lots faster than those Chinese quad core boxes, plus you get a decent remote.

So the box seems to be a Google TV box judging by the look of the UI, Are you able to cast to this box via Chromecast?

Really liking it so far. No PVR but on demand access for subscribed channels.
Does “on demand” mean all episodes of all shows viewable on that channel?
I’m with Shaw and some VOD shows are full seasons while others are only 2-3 most recent episodes

Thanks
