I see on the main Pik TV page:

"Try Pik TV risk-free.
Get your first month of service for $0 and a $75 bill credit.
Cancel anytime.1"

But when I go through the checkout, these credits are not applied.

My credits were applied directly to the account same day. $25 for the box and $10/month plus $15/month for the Asian channels were a no brainer for me. The service has been very reliable, and updates to the box comes often. No contract to boot. Very good value for the money IMO.

Did the credits show up on the checkout page? Or did it show the full price, you placed the order, and then the credits showed up later?

Ordered with agent over the phone who applied it directly to my account. $75 credit for the unit and $10 credit for 1st month service free.

The box is certainly capable of 4K. Read the specifications on one source. The live TV and OnDemand content through Pik is not 4K though.
I just checked OneSource! The box is 4K enabled but currently does not support 4K live TV content. This means you can watch Netflix in 4K on the box, but not 4K sports.

so if I wanted more TVs I would have to pay an additional 100$ per box?
Correct

Does anyone know when this promo expires? Telus pulled a fibre line into my place a month or two ago, but their website still says I can only get DSL. Don't want to miss out on this deal if I can get it bundled with PureFibre, but also don't want to go back to 50Mbps internet service.
There currently isn't an expiry date.

Can you just buy the box on its own for $25?
The box is $25 because a $75 credit is given to customers when they add it to their existing internet service.

Hobo,

So if i sign up for the fibre 150 and piktv, its 85 dollars a month. Does this go up after a period of time?

Am i locked into this service for a period of time because they are giving me a bill credit to sign up? For new subscribers the box is free.

Nope! It's an ongoing rate from what I understand. There's no contract or anything. The box is still $25 for new customers, but the internet and PikTV for the first month is free.

Does anyone know how this box compares to a raspberry pi 3 and kodi? I would probably only use this pik tv box with kodi and it's only $25. Could you hook up a keyboard to the USB slot? There looks to be only 1 USB port. And less than 8 gb of memory.

Also... how easy is it to change channels later on? Am I stuck with these 5 forever?

What is advantage of this vs. Optik service ? No contract ? Better bundling ? I mean if there is no PVR capabilities and allows you to watch a network stream of a particular channel, that's pretty much what any android box can do. Sure you don't get the stream from the actual provider, but you get the same service for free.

$10 AMC with a few bonus channels. Option to add HBO when needed.
