Temporary (2 days) car insurance in Ontario

Hi,

I've moved a month ago from Quebec to Ontario. My Quebec car insurance policy ends today.

I'll register my vehicle at Service Ontario Thursday night. I can't do it day time since I'm working.

The insurance broker told me that it is illegal to insure a car with Quebec plate with an ONtario insurance.
THis is why he can not give me a temporary insurance.

Does anybody know an insurance cie that could provide me car insurance for 2 days?

Thanks

No one would give you insurance for 2 days. Or a full year if the car is not registered in Ontario and your seeking Ontario insurance.

Here in Alberta, you need insurance first, THEN you can register your vehicle, I believe. That's not the same out there?

You only need a vin number to get insurance if you don't have Ontario plates yet.
