I had a terrible experience with bodybuilding.com. I ordered a bunch of protein them a few months ago. I had read that it could take up to a week and a half to receive the product due to customs. that sounded okay. Well it had been a month and the tracking number said it was in Ontario. I contacted bb.com and they informed me it was still in customs. That did not make sense since it was already in ON. It did not move from them for another month. I contacted them every week and they said it was still taking time to clear customs. There was no effort on their part to contact customs or give me a real answer were my product was. After it had been sitting for a couple months I deceived to request my money back. They still informed me to wait. I then issued a paypal dispute and they refunded right away.

I though this had been a glitch in the customs process so I was going to give it another try again today. Only that after I submitted my order I received an email saying my order was cancelled. They informed me that I was no longer able to purchase through my credit card or paypal because I can request a refund through them because of my previous order. I could only submit payment through wire or western union.

Their customer service is horrible. This may only be my experience but I thought I should share.

It is usually a long process if you order stuff from the states. It takes longer to process due to customs and stuff if you order A LOT. If you order a lot you are subjected to customs and duties. Why don't you try to order from CS. In the end it may be cheaper because 1CAD = 0.80USD basically. In the end it probably costs more and your shipment is easier to get lost.

Just because it said it was in Ontario doesn't mean it wasn't sitting in Customs. Customs can be picky when it comes to supplements ordered from the states due to different laws. It's not BB.com's fault if it was stuck in Customs. There's nothing they can do. They can't just phone up Customs and tell them to hurry it up, it doesn't work like that.

I also don't blame them for canceling your order. As far as they are concerned, they sent out your items just as you expected them to. They can't control what happens after that.

I have ordered from them many times and I have had nothing but good experiences. I would order from them again in a heart beat.

customs should take 1-2 business days max to clear..there was obviously paperwork problems.

Makes sense why they don't want you to pay via CC or PP, because you have a history of doing a charge back when the product is already sent. Not only did they lose on the amount you paid them, but they lost on the product too last time.

Why not just call PopEyes, buy in a bit of a bulk and you'll get a discount. Last time I paid $26 for 5LB of AllMax AllWhey.

There might be some issue with getting Protein cleared through customs. They are very picky about what they clear when it comes to items like this. If it doesn't make it through customs in under a week, then it's probably not going to make it through. I went through this once where tracking said "clearing customs" for a month. After a month of "clearing customs" I got a letter in the mail from Canada Customs saying the parcel contained banned substances (anything on the "do no mail list") and will be destroyed.

I initiated a paypal refund and paypal granted.
