This truck is a great deal compared to the Roadster.

From Tesla site: Founders Series Roadster reservations require an initial $6,000 credit card payment, plus a $316,000 wire transfer payment due in 10 days.

Just imagine seeing someone trailering his Roaster and carrying the trike in the bed.

The ultimate boy toys.

Prices for the top end Tri Motor AWD version of the Cybertruck start at $69,900.
Add another $7K for AP.
AP is standard on all Tesla's. You're referring to FSD, I assume, which is not $7k but $9200.

This information is available at www.tesla.com.

Not a fan of the styling but that numbers on that truck are off the charts. Surprised how low they priced it too. Damn!

500 mile range, 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, towing 14,000 lbs. Pretty nuts. And it's actually tough LOL.
But that styling....

Steering wheel is pretty bad.
How is the safety going to work? What about crumple zones? Shouldn't the windows be designed to break to get trapped passengers out of there?

Specs and material are great. I've been taking a liking to more funkier looking cars these days but I don't know about this one...

The base model doesn't get those "impressive" numbers.

If this vehicle was a crated kit starting at C$20k I would think about it. It looks like a kit vehicle. Big 3 will be breathing a sigh of relief after this reveal. However there are some good ideas that hopefully they will take note of. - e.g. air suspension to lower bed. It is good to see what Tesla can come up with not having any truck preconceptions. Current trucks (unless you are into really heavy load moving /towing) are really not practical compared to say a van - people buy them for image which is why the Cybertruck will have to create its own market within the existing Tesla fanbase imo.

The Cybertruck is an exercise in function over form except the stealth approach has been taken too far. A horizontal section of roof would not only improve the looks but would offer better flexibility for things like racks. However I think this offering is targeted at the huge leisure /family market rather than fleet / contractor market.

Put a deposit down. In true Costanza fashion, this car is so ugly I'm in love with it.
