Welcome to RFD?
Anyway, be cautious. This could put your friend/family member on a sms spam list... recommended for people you don't like![]()

TextCanada.ca - Send Free Text Messages to Canadian Phones!
Hey everyone,
I found a great new website where you can send text messages for free to Canadian phones! I tried it yesterday and it works really good, it's pretty fast too. It's a pretty nice looking site too.
Check it out: http://www.textcanada.ca

I think - at least, for all of the providers I've tried - you can send text messages to their customers.
For example:
Bell - http://www.txt.bellmobility.ca/bmc/en/
Rogers - http://www.rogers.com/english/wireless/sendpcs.html
Fido - http://www.fido.ca/portal/web2fido/compose.do
Telus - http://www.telusmobility.com/sendame...amessage.shtml_______________
So long. I'm outta here.

15cents/message to receive probably still applies. Its free to SEND, not to receive.

I have got Fido. If I knew it was free I would of gone with Rogers. O well.

better go directly to the provider. Don't risk putting your friend's # on SMS SPAM list.
