In Liew of the TF movie being released..here's for all you TF fans out there:

few reasons to get this:

- sold out in Japan now
- goes for around the same price on ebay or more
- i just got mine (shipped in 2 weeks, pretty slow imo but no customs etc.)
- safe ordering system, paypal
- by far one of the best 'toys' i've owned..right up there with 20th dvd edition prime (mp-01 masterpiece reissue)
- it WILL be sold out (before there were 'lower grade' boxes..C9 boxes are for 'collector' editions..only those left)
- transforms much easier than MP-05 megatron (which is on sale for 99.95 on the website too..reisssue of mp-05)...takes less time than transforming 20th dvd prime too.imo..pretty simple

and for the rest..just look at the pics

now here's my 'dislikes' about the product:

- a little plasticky imo.but still feels very very solid
- its hard to stand up on its own
- its a little pricey

well get it before its gone!

The Takara G1 MP03 should be out in February from what Ive heard.

And more Megatrons MP 05 should be coming out in December.

I just got mine from HLJ.com, lucky I didn't get taxed on it (it's totally random).

If only we could find a deal on the MP-05 Megatron...

is it just me or does the figure seem kind of 'slim'. was voltron always like that? doesn't seem very 'roboty' or wtvr. not enough bulk.

neways voltron is awesome..but i'd rather put the money to the next seeker masterpiece (us ver - starscream)

The price is only going to go higher as the quantities decrease, the RFD lowballing strategy doesn't quite work when it comes to purchasing Japanese transformers, collectors buy them up fast, and I mean like "preordered & sold out" fast for some items.

Unless Takara-Tomy is going to make another batch, then the price will be going up, or you'll have to keep looking for a lower price (like at a store in Asia, not online). With the movie-hype inflating a lot of the prices lately, ebay is going to be your last and most costliest resort when it comes to buying Transformers.

I second that. Ive been buying import ***** transformers for a few years now and it is a big risk to shop around and save $10. Find your one or two guys to buy from, stick with them, preorder from them and try to get deals from them by being a loyal return customer or by paying cash. If you wait too long they might end up going up a lot more and there is no way of telling how much it is going to go up. They seldom go down in price unless a second wave comes out.
