Damn you OP, a little bit of insomnia at night and *bang* I'm dinged with $118. Had to add Joe Boxer boxers to get that free shipping. That's RFD. OP thanked anyway Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

Wow the deal is even better than it was two days ago. Now ebates is up to 5% back and if you have an hbc mastercard you get 20% (as opposed to 15%) off as well as free shipping!

Thanks OP!

Are the lids interchangeable on the D3 10 piece set? Curious if the lids fit on the frying pan.

FWIW there are some pretty negative amazon US reviews on this. Main complaints are that food sticks way too easily because of the porous/rough finish, the finish stains and discolors very easily and the QA is not too good as they are often not very flat. Apparently this is not indicative of the quality you expect with the professional/d5 model, this is purely a cost-cut 'home gamer' model that is all-clad in name only.

I was ready to buy but those negative reviews made me skip it.

food sticking and discoloration are most likely caused by poor technique

Quite possible, and I've never had any issues with stainless before - but this seemed to come up pretty often. Just throwing it out there.

To me, those reviews are equivalent to the ones that complain about Lodge cast iron pans rusting after one use, sticking food likely crazy, and that Le Creuset pans not nonstick...
I bought this All Clad pan last week, and fried eggs on the first use without any issue. The bottom is flat, unlike my two de Buyer country fry pans. It met my expectations for a tri-ply stainless steel skillet.

Well the question is... is the lid worth $50 dollars ($80 vs $130)? compared to the deal from amazon?
serious question. I skipped the last deal at 129 (too late for 119), but with this deal, it's hard to pass.

I've got a weekend pan (4 qt). if you are pan frying stuff, yes it doe stick. even if I seasoned it, let it cool and all that kind of stuff. it's better, but still sticks. I guess it's just my technique that I need to home in on.

I've also got the non-stick ones Polished D5 8" & 10" N/S Fry Pan Set, it way better, but not as good as cheaper brands in terms of non-stick

15% off also works on 10 piece set, on sale for $720, bringing it down to $611.

that 3 quart saute is on my shopping list, but cheapest i could find it for is $192
How does all-clad compare to sets from zwilling henckel set, which is better quality?
