Grabbed a case last night on my way home from work.

It's decent everyday beer. Craft beer snobs will hate it of course but oh well.

The beer is ok to taste. But the feeling afterward is just not worth it. Use to drink it because it is cheap, but the gut rot is not worth it. I go big or go home. Keiths or Rickards. May as well spend a few bucks and enjoy your beer. Cheap is cheap for a reason.

I still love my Steelers big can on occasion.

I find laker somewhat better tasting that a lot of the craft beers, IPA from Keith's and moosehead as other big branded beers.

Yes -- minus 10 cents/bottle for the deposit. So $1.15 per.
Can I send Douggie an invoice to cover the additional $0.25 per can?
I swear to drunk I'm not God 😝

This PC government is taking Beer seriously! Lots of changes were made to alcohol legislation.

I don't buy that. Some very good tasting cheaper beers, Brick's own Red Barron comes to mind.

Laker is made by Brick - it's not big corporate beer by any stretch.

Keith's to me tastes like nothing special - it's good but nothing worth a lot of extra $$.

I still remember the catchy jingle, "Make 'er a Laker, it's a buck a beer!".

...you forgot the ever important legalization of tailgating. Mr Ford knows his priorities, edumacation is very optional.

Looks like Laker Red is the same price. I find that to have a bit more flavour.
