Theft?

Has anyone ever had anything stolen from a gym? Did you loose your stuff from your locker? Did someone pick your lock? I just wanna know if there are any problems with losing stuff in the gym. Thx

at mac's gym there is usually no problem. The only time stuff gets lost or stolen is when people don't put locks on their lockers and their crap gets stolen or thrown around.

at UT acc, someone break into my locker, leather jacket, running shoes, tennis racket, wallet. After that, I never went back or to any other gym

I was told it's pretty common in locker room.
I go to ymca markham for 2 years now, I knew 4 incidents of locker break-in.
And I notice numerous lockers have their lock ring cut.

For those that had their locker broken into, how was it done? I use a lock with a guard that protects it from cutters.

3 of guys whose locker got broken into said their locks disappear too.
Probably the thief took the lock, didn't want to leave any fingerprints behind.

Lock with a guard is good, but the thief can cut the ring, you know the ring through which you hang the lock.
