If you live in the Montreal region, every tuesday the Café Campus bar has a 80s night.
I heard its very good...and the beer is cheap too![]()

Is there an 80's hang out?
Hi,
I'm desperately jonesing for some 80's culture. I tried searching Google's newsgroups for like minded people, and granted I only stopped off at 3 or so groups, but it seems spam pervades there too!
Looking for a little piece of heaven where people can just chat and trade
in peace.
A few things that screams 80s for me:
G.I.Joe
Breakfast Club
Cheesy synth pop music

I just noticed how great the so-called "R&B" of the 80s were very synthisizer driven. Earth, Wind & Fire, Kool and the Gang, etc.
I'm listening to this 300 song set and most of the songs are recognizable, but their names are so alien. It's like "oh, I didn't know such and such sang that song..cool"
RADICAL!

HEy! Hall and Oats are good! Billy Ocean, Prince, Queen, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Roger Troutman, Ice T, the 80's where cool!
Better then listening to that crap coming from Britney spears or 50 cent.

Can't you just tune into "That 80's Show" or "That 70's Show?" Sigh... what ever happened to "Happy Days" and originality?

Huh? What? Oh, it's not on anymore? Nevermind...
