I don't know of any, but I'd suggest changing the title of the thread to 'any palmpilot repair shops in toronto'. LCDs can't be repaired, just replaced. (I'm pretty sure they physically can't be repaired, but even if they could it would cost a bloody fortune, so people wouldn't repair them)

Are there any LCD replacing shops in Toronto?
I have a Palm Pilot, and the LCD screen has a major crack in it. I was thinking I could buy the parts off eBay and then bring it into a store in the GTA to get it fixed. Does anyone know any reputable stores? The cost isn't quite an issue with me.
Let me know, thanks!Last edited by zolonka; Apr 7th, 2006 at 05:24 AM.

The Screen on my dad's palm died a few months ago.
I bought a new screen from eBay and installed it my self. Tools needed: small screwdriver and hair dryer.
The instructions that came with it were good. It was resonably easy to do.

You are wasting your time and thread here. Like someone mentioned above, you can NOT repaire LCD. You replace it.

But that's exactly what I want to do! I would like to purchase a replacement LCD screen off eBay or something, and ask someone to replace it onto my PDA for me.
I'm just afraid to do it myself because I have no experience doing that whatsoever.
I thought there would be stores in Toronto who would be able to do that type of replacement...

If cost isn't an issue... buy a new pda and ebay the cracked one.
Just my 2 cents
