the cheapest hybrid would probably be the first generation Prius, but I highly doubt it would be less than 5Gs. Probably 10K but I don't think 5K.
on autotrader though, there are none of those, and the cheapest hybrid i see is approximately 20K

Are There Cheap Hybrids? - Used?
So I'm just throwing this question out there ...
Have enough years past now that we have cheap hybrids? The way you can pick up a Pontiac Sunfire or Honda Civic for less than $5,000.
Are there any older Hybrids out there in this price range?_______________

Just be aware that you might have to spend a few thousand dollars on new batteries if the hybrid 7 or 8 years old.

Cheapest hyrbrid would not be first gen Prius.
The Generation of Civics before the current gen has a hybrid model.
My friend let me test drive his Hyrbid that he's selling.
I forget what year this is, 01-05 though.
As in the pics, 200 km and only 1 block off the gas meter, I have now gone 360km and only 2 blocks are down. I am very sure I will be over 600km by the time I'm half tank.
This car I am confident can do over 1100km if you drive normally.
Battery charges when braking or off the accelerator.
Car also turns it self off when you come to a complete halt on the brakes to save gas, auto turns on (takes less than 1 second) once the brake is off and just gas and go.
Sorry 'bout dirty car, but its not a FS ad just showing that these are probably the cheapest.
If anyone is interested in it though I can ask about details.
It has 57 000km on it, Auto. Tan interior.
