There are docking stations you can use to bridge your cell phone to your landlines in the house. One such product is: http://www.phonelabs.com/prd05.asp

Is there a cordless phone system that takes a SIM card?
I don't use our home phone enough to justify almost $40/month, so I'd like a multi-line cordless phone system, like my Panasonic, except that uses a Sim card and works like a cellular. Does such a beast exist?

Vtech has one too. It was very useful with the City Fido service (unlimited local calls on your cell service).

One that I'm aware of, but it is Motorola-only: http://broadband.motorola.com/consum...res_SD4505.asp. They're pretty cheap on eBay, too.

You could try the Panasonic Link-to-Cell KX-TH111
Panasonic Link
Compatible Cell Phones
FS is selling it for $229.99 but ecost.com has it for $99.99 USD and after BorderFree it comes to around $135 CND.
I saw another one from GE in the London Drugs handout for Christmas and there is also a Uniden one..something 595 (585 does not have cell option).
With the Panasonic you can connect up to 5 cell phones._______________
