Is there an easy way to tell if I'm over paying on ebay?

Sorry for all the recent threads, but I'm kinda stumped on finding a decent amplifier for my laptop speakers.

All of the following have the same chip:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Mini-Digital-Amp ... 1339476353
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2-Channels-3W-PA ... 0931596231
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Mini-PAM8403-5V- ... 1278257369
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/PAM8403-digital- ... 1508259700

The more expensive ones have more components, and look higher quality, whereas the cheaper ones look like the type of stuff I built in highschool. But in the end, they all use the same PAM8403.

More components = higher quality? or more prone to failure?

If anyone is wondering, I'm thinking of adding internal speakers to my ITX build. I'll just take the left and right channels from the audio header.
