is there a place where u can take your car in to work on it yourself.....
....like a place with hoists and tools etc....or even without hoists or tools.
Won't mind paying a nominal fee.
I imagine i could work on it in a park or something if it was summer time.
Am tired of people staring at me in the basement of my condo like am vandalizing the car or something.

There is a place in Brampton off of ruthorford and clark (south of queen)
Name escapes me. Cheap prices for space and hoist access (they also have tool rentals if you do not have your own)

for 20 dollars an hour you can probably find a independent mechanic to do it for you. working in a park will bring the police pretty fast.

If I'm going to do work on my car that involves the use of a shop I just book an appointment at my old high school, Central Technical School, and I can use the shop. Sometimes I have to wait a week or two but if I need something done immediatley that I cannot do without the use of a shop I just go to one of my family friends who is a mechanic and get him to do it. Try calling some high schools that have a auto shop they might let you use the shop.
